When the semester gets stressful, nothing makes a dreaded Monday better than a delicious home-cooked meal for lunch. Every Monday, ASDA’s Lunch Club gathers in the student lounge and indulges in a potluck lunch. Members take turns cooking meals for the rest of the club so members will only need to cook once or twice a semester. We understand people are busy and not everyone is a master chef, so salads, soups, or crockpot dishes are always easy and enjoyed by all. This semester, we would like to explore cuisines from different cultures, so if you’re looking to diversify your palate, be sure to sign up! I will also compile the recipes from each Monday so members will be able to recreate any dishes they particularly enjoyed. At the end of the semester, we will have a catered lunch to thank all the Lunch Club members for taking the time to make meals for the rest of the club.
So what are you waiting for? If you’re looking for a way to brighten up your Monday with a delicious home-cooked lunch, please email me at firstname.lastname@example.org with your name, email, role in school (D1…D4, staff, faculty), and any food allergies/restrictions by Thursday, September 20 to join!
I hope to see you there!
